Football Recap: Three Forks Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Columbus came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Three Forks, but Kanon Reichman wouldn't allow it. The Wolves claimed a resounding 50-7 win over the Cougars with plenty of help from Reichman, who rushed for 249 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries, and also threw for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run.

One reason for the win was Three Forks' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Marcus Pestel with two.

The victory (which was Three Forks' third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.7 points over those games. As for Columbus, they dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Three Forks will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Columbus, they will venture away from home to take on Sweet Grass County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Sheepherders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
