Baseball Recap: Port Allegany's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Port Allegany can now relate to. They lost 10-2 to the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Gators, who until this game were averaging 3.9 runs allowed.

Port Allegany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
