Basketball Recap: Pauls Valley Comes Up Short

Pauls Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marlow Outlaws. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Outlaws earlier this season, when they won 50-28.

Pauls Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Marlow, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-12.

Pauls Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marlow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Davis will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Marlow surely won't give up without a fight.
