Football Game Preview: Mountain Empire Redhawks vs. Foothills Christian Knights

The Mountain Empire Redhawks will square off against the Foothills Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Mountain Empire beat Rock Academy 30-22.

Mountain Empire found their leader in sophomore Elisha Lashone Robinson, who rushed for 138 yards and one TD while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothills Christian). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-13 victory over Tri-City Christian. The Knights not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 47-0).

Mountain Empire is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Foothills Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8.
