Star tight end Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers provided one of the signature moments of the NFL's opening weekend when he unsuccessfully attempted to dunk the football over the goalpost following a touchdown.

Davis getting rim-checked was about all that went wrong for the 49ers in a huge road win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
