Softball Recap: Murrieta Valley Gets the Win

Murrieta Valley's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Linfield Christian Lions by a score of 11-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For the Nighthawks, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

The win got Murrieta Valley back to even at 2-2. As for Linfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Murrieta Valley will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Lakeside at 3:30 p.m. on March 4. As for Linfield Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Murrieta Mesa at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
