Recap: Southwest EC Eagles vs. Sweetwater Red Devils
The Southwest EC Eagles''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. Their rough 44-20 defeat to Sweetwater might stick with them for a while.
Carlos David Delgado went supernova for Sweetwater, rushing for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Sweetwater also got a significant boost from Zaryan Crews, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
Southwest EC's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-9. As for Sweetwater, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Southwest EC does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sweetwater will be playing at home against El Cajon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Cajon Valley will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
