The Ambrose School piles up the points against Compass Charter

In what's become a running theme this season, The Ambrose School Archers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 71-41 victory over Compass Charter on the road. Given The Ambrose School's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Compass Charter is ranked 77th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Compass Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Beau Bristol, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Grayson Skimmyhorn was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

The Ambrose School's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Compass Charter, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Ambrose School will take on Melba at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Compass Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Nampa Christian at 7:30 p.m.
