Volleyball Recap: Waynedale's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Waynedale and Dalton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Waynedale had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Golden Bears' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Waynedale started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Waynedale lost, don't look at Kylie Geiser. Despite the final result, she had 30 digs and one assist. Geiser is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Waynedale's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Dalton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3.

Waynedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dalton, they will challenge Independence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
