Coeur d'Alene had won nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it ten. They came out on top against the Post Falls Trojans by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Gianna Callari paced Coeur d'Alene's offense, picking up 16 kills. Callari got some help from Hannah Shafer and her 34 assists. Kaylee Paulson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Post Falls fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the defeat, Post Falls had strong showings from Lucy Carr, who had four aces and three digs, and Claire Ziegler, who had ten assists and eight digs. Carr has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Coeur d'Alene didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Sandpoint on the 4th. As for Post Falls, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Mt. Spokane on the 10th.
