Volleyball Recap: Lingleville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Lingleville was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Zephyr on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Perrin-Whitt Pirates on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Lingleville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.

Perrin-Whitt can attribute much of their success to Michelle Akin, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Lingleville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Perrin-Whitt, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Lingleville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Richland Springs on the 26th. As for Perrin-Whitt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Collinsville on the 21st.
