Volleyball Recap: Lingleville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Zephyr on Tuesday, Lingleville came back down to earth. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Perrin-Whitt Pirates on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since August 12th.

Lingleville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Perrin-Whitt, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

After both having extra time off, Lingleville and Richland Springs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday. As for Perrin-Whitt, they will take on Collinsville in a tournament on Thursday. Perrin-Whitt is facing Collinsville at the right time seeing as Collinsville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
