Baseball Recap: Dover Wins Going Away Against Pine Plains

Dover owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pine Plains Bombers by a score of 4-0. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Dragons this season.

Caleb Montalvo- Soto made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Montalvo- Soto was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.

Montalvo- Soto wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Evan Arnold, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
