Softball Recap: Northeast Lauderdale Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Northeast Lauderdale's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Newton County Cougars on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Northeast Lauderdale's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-3 record. As for Newton County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

While Northeast Lauderdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
