Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Zion Braves vs. Taylorville Tornadoes

Mt. Zion hasn't had much luck against Taylorville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Braves will look to defend their home court against the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Mt. Zion turned things around against Ottawa on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pirates.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Taylorville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Mattoon by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Taylorville took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11.

Taylorville's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Mt. Zion, their win bumped their record up to 17-14.
