Volleyball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Nipomo Titans

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out to square off against the Nipomo Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Roosevelt is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Orcutt Academy as they made off with a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Roosevelt's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Nipomo made easy work of Righetti on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Nipomo won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 28-26.

Roosevelt better keep an eye on Torin Reynolds. He was instrumental in Nipomo's win, getting 14 digs.

Nipomo was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March.

Roosevelt's record is now 12-17. As for Nipomo, their record now sits at 22-14.
