After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bridgeport, Hay Springs was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls 3-0. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys/Cowgirls, too.

Devyn Young paced Hay Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Young got some help from
Reese Varvel and her 12 assists. Varvel and Young didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.
Hay Springs' victory bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Cody-Kilgore, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-24 record this season.
