They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Logan County Cougars 4-3. For the Marshals, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.
Mitchell Reid looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs but no hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
