Basketball Game Preview: Memorial Mustangs vs. Randle Lions

The Memorial Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Randle Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial will be strutting in after a victory while Randle will be coming in after a loss.

While Mustangs fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They snuck past Alief Hastings with a 48-43 win on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Randle played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-43 loss at the hands of North Shore. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since January 24th.

Memorial was able to grind out a solid win over Randle in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 52-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
