Baseball Game Preview: Lakeland Hawks vs. Moscow Bears

The Lakeland Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Moscow Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lakeland and 11 for Moscow.

Sandpoint hit Lakeland with a four-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-1.

Moscow saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Perry, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Lakeland came out on top in a nail-biter against Moscow in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
