Estrella Foothills entered their tilt with Buckeye on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Buckeye Hawks by a score of 42-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-44 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Estrella Foothills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Amenhauser, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Amenhauser has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last nine times she's played. Chanel Yellowman was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.

Jaelah Brown and Amayah Leyva certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Brown went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points, while Leyva posted eight points and three steals.

Estrella Foothills' record is now 27-3. As for Buckeye, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Estrella Foothills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-17 win against Westview on the 4th. Buckeye has also already played their next game, a 61-30 victory against Youngker on the 4th.
