It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Parsippany ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hanover Park Hornets 5-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Parsippany's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nate Camacho, who went 2-for-5 with two runs. Another was J Comaccho, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

With the win, Parsippany broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Hanover Park, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parsippany will host Whippany Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanover Park, they will welcome West Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
