Soccer Recap: Whitman-Hanson Regional Comes Up Short

Whitman-Hanson Regional lost against Hingham on October 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Harbormen, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Whitman-Hanson Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Hingham are ranked 39th).

Whitman-Hanson Regional's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Hingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitman-Hanson Regional will welcome Quincy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hingham, they will be playing at home against Boston College High at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
