Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Finds Playoff Glory Versus Green Hill + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brentwood had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Green Hill Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

While Brentwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Eliza McKnight paced Brentwood's offense, picking up 12 kills. McKnight got some help from Lauren Duncan and her 15 assists. Duncan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Green Hill's loss came despite strong showings from Abbie Lyttle and Maddie Long. Lyttle had 11 digs and four assists, while Long had 11 kills, seven digs, and two blocks.

Brentwood's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Green Hill, their loss ended a ten-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 28-5.

As of now, neither Brentwood nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
