Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln-Way West Warriors vs. Lincoln-Way Central Knights

Last Friday, Lincoln-Way West strolled past Stagg with points to spare, taking the game 57-40. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Chargers are ranked 591st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way Central beat Thornton Fractional South 42-32 on Saturday. The 42-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lincoln-Way West now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.
