Basketball Game Preview: Nova Titans vs. FAU High Owls

The Nova Titans will take on the FAU High Owls in a tournament on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Nova: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while FAU High has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Last Wednesday, Nova lost to South Plantation at home by a 66-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Paladins are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, FAU High came up short against Boynton Beach on Wednesday and fell 79-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (60), the Owls still had to take the loss.

Nova now has a losing record at 7-8. As for FAU High, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
