Softball Recap: John Jay Has No Trouble Against Yonkers

John Jay had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-5 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Yonkers Bulldogs 15-2. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

As for Yonkers, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Yonkers' part, Leila Campbell was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Campbell has hit this season.

Looking ahead, John Jay will take on Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yonkers, they will challenge Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
