Volleyball Recap: Muscatine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Davenport West on Tuesday, Muscatine came back down to earth. The Muskies fell 2-0 to the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Muskies of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Muscatine's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Center Point-Urbana, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Muscatine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Linn-Mar on the 13th. As for Center Point-Urbana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Valley on the 13th.
