Emmaus strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Liberty Hurricanes. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 22-25, 25-11, 25-16.
Lucas Mondin paced Emmaus' offense, picking up 14 kills. Mondin got some help from Ben Skekel and his 34 assists. Miles Boulrice controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
