Reese Jolly posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
