It was a good run, but St. Mary unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Sanford Warriors by a score of 46-44.

Despite the loss, St. Mary's still got an impressive performance from Bailey Harris, who went 9 for 21 on her way to 24 points and five rebounds. Harris has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Alexandra Vandiver was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Sanford, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

St. Mary's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-47 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 28th. As for Sanford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-44 defeat against Riverdale Baptist on the 28th.
