Soccer Game Preview: Cedar vs. Crimson Cliffs

Cedar is 1-9 against Crimson Cliffs since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Reds will host the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, Cedar came up short against Dixie and fell 4-2. That's two games in a row now that Cedar have lost by exactly two goals.

Dylan Barrick and Cardon Barnes scored both of Cedar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Crimson Cliffs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Pine View on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-1 win. Crimson Cliffs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Crimson Cliffs pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Cedar, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
