Volleyball Recap: Sikeston Gets the Win

Sikeston won the last time they faced Kingston and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Sikeston found their leader in freshman Londyn Mitchell, who had six digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Mitchell.

Sikeston was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Sikeston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Kingston, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Sikeston has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bunker on the 13th. As for Kingston, they will challenge Herculaneum at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
