Basketball Recap: La Farge Takes a Loss

La Farge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the De Soto Pirates and fell 74-44. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

La Farge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for De Soto, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Farge will face off against North Crawford at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. North Crawford has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matches. As for De Soto, they will head out on the road to challenge Ithaca at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ithaca knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully De Soto likes a good challenge.
