Volleyball Recap: Daniel Boone Comes Up Short

Daniel Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-12.

Daniel Boone's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Elizabethton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Daniel Boone will welcome David Crockett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elizabethton, they will host Greeneville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
