Volleyball Game Preview: Siegel Stars vs. Cookeville Cavaliers

The Siegel Stars will challenge the Cookeville Cavaliers at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Siegel is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

If Stewarts Creek wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Siegel, they should've done a better job of containing Camryn Faulk. The Stars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Hawks on Monday thanks in part to Faulk, who had 18 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Siegel never let Stewarts Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cookeville made easy work of LaVergne on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6, 25-17.

Siegel better keep an eye on Ella Hardin. She was instrumental in Cookeville's win, getting 16 assists and six digs. That's the most assists Hardin has posted over her last three matches.

Siegel's record is now 19-14. As for Cookeville, their record now sits at 20-10.
