Football Game Preview: Waterloo West Wahawks vs. Marshalltown Bobcats

Waterloo West has gone a perfect 3-0 against Marshalltown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Waterloo West will be strutting in after a win while Marshalltown will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Waterloo West earned a 28-21 victory over Kennedy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wahawks.

Meanwhile, Marshalltown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Dallas Center-Grimes, falling 31-10.

Marshalltown now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Waterloo West, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Waterloo West against Marshalltown when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 44-17 win. Will the Wahawks repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
