Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Takes a Loss

After flying high against McCluer South-Berkeley last Monday, St. Pius X came back down to earth. The St. Pius X Lancers lost 67-43 to the Waynesville Tigers on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Waynesville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will take on Rolla in a tournament on Thursday. Rolla will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Pius X surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waynesville, they will head out on the road to challenge Mexico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
