Basketball Recap: Quanah Comes Up Short

Quanah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Borger Bulldogs, falling 64-38.

It was another big night for Tahqulin Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 boards for Borger. The game was Brooks' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Guerrero, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points.

Quanah's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Borger, their record now sits at 2-6.

Quanah will be playing in front of their home fans against Anson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Borger, they will venture away from home to challenge Pampa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Borger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season.
