Basketball Recap: Kennedy Wins Going Away Against Heppner

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Enterprise, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Heppner Mustangs 47-32. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Heppner, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will face off against Umpqua Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Heppner and Dufur will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
