Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings beat the Cass City Red Hawks 44-40 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kings.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gauge Roy, who went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points. The game was Roy's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Braydon Schwartzkopf, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Calvary Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cass City, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
