Basketball Game Preview: Leadership vs. Oakland Wildcats

Leadership will take on the Oakland Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Leadership will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Leadership is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Wednesday. They snuck past AIMS College Prep with a 63-59 win. That's two games straight that Leadership has won by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Oakland didn't have too much trouble with McClymonds on Thursday as they won 54-37. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Warriors are ranked 464th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oakland has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. Leadership's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4.
