Basketball Game Preview: Destiny Christian Academy Lions vs. Jesuit Marauders

The Destiny Christian Academy Lions will face off against the Jesuit Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Destiny Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Jesuit likes a good challenge.

Destiny Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 68-45 margin over Antelope. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Jesuit's strategy against Lodi on Friday. Everything went Jesuit's way against Lodi as Jesuit made off with a 60-39 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Marauders had established a 20 point advantage.

Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points over those games. Destiny Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-11.

Things could have been worse for Destiny Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-64 loss to Jesuit when the teams last played back in February of 2023.
