Basketball Game Preview: Yuma Criminals vs. Dysart Demons

Yuma is 0-4 against Dysart since February of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Yuma Criminals will head out on the road to face off against the Dysart Demons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, everything went Yuma's way against Coronado as Yuma made off with a 78-55 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Criminals had established a 21 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Dysart entered their tilt with Desert Sunrise on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Golden Hawks to the tune of 70-24. That looming 70-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Demons yet this season.

Dysart has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Yuma, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Yuma was dealt a bruising 84-41 defeat at the hands of Dysart when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Yuma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
