Soddy Daisy won the last time they faced Ooltewah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Soddy Daisy Trojans walked away with a 54-42 victory over the Ooltewah Owls. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.

Aleigha Taylor and Allie Tipton certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Taylor posted 19 points and five boards, while Tipton scored 16 points and four steals. That was a full 45.2% of Ooltewah's points, marking the third time in a row Taylor has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Soddy Daisy pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points over those games. As for Ooltewah, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.
