Basketball Recap: Blue Eye Takes a Loss

Blue Eye entered their game against Walnut Grove on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blue Eye Bulldogs were dealt a 53-21 defeat at the hands of the Walnut Grove Tigers. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Blue Eye's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Walnut Grove, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Blue Eye has already played their next game, a 37-35 win against Fordland on the 28th. As for Walnut Grove, they will head out to square off against Hermitage at 5:30 p.m. on January 3rd.
