Lutheran South Academy hadn't done well against La Porte recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Pioneers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The Pioneers' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hallie Garner paced Lutheran South Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Garner got some help from Addison Musgrove and her 14 assists. Aniston Collins and Eli Wittman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Lutheran South Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for La Porte, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
