Soccer Game Preview: Northeast vs. Hunters Lane

The Northeast Eagles will face off against the Hunters Lane Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northeast got their first taste of in-conference action last Tuesday and they started things off strong. They blew past Springfield 4-1. Joao Guilherme Castelo Branco was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Hunters Lane's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against Greenbrier as they made off with a 5-1 win. Hunters Lane haven't had any issues with Greenbrier recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win made it two in a row for Northeast and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Hunters Lane, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2.
