Baseball Recap: Mount Dora Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Mount Dora Christian Academy lost against Windermere back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 12-7 to the Wolverines. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Wise was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Britton Wise, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Mount Dora Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Windermere, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Mount Dora Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against East River on the 29th. As for Windermere, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-6 win against Dr. Phillips on the 1st.
