Glenn Hills unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Hancock Central Bulldogs at home by a 24-6 margin on Friday. The Spartans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenn Hills will host Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hancock Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jasper County at 7:30 p.m.
